Bradley Beal is returning to St. Louis this weekend to huddle with his family and decide whether to return to Florida for his sophomore season or declare for the NBA draft.

“I know it's going to be a hard decision for him,” Beal's father, Bobby Beal said Thursday.”Some people say (leaving) is a no-brainer, but I know that he loves college, loves the atmosphere down there.”

Beal, a 6-foot-3, 207 pound shooting guard, is a consensus top-5 pick.

Patric Young Returning For Sophomore Season At Florida

Mar 16, 2012 10:30 AM

Patric Young, who averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in 33 games with the Gators, told reporters Thursday that he intends to return for his sophomore season instead of entering the NBA draft.

“That’s always great news,” Gators coach Billy Donovan said. “I think Patric has learned a lot this year. I don’t think this year was as easy for him as I thought it was going to be. I think a lot of times when you’re a player that’s in a role, and all of a sudden you go from a role to a primary position, your impression of what you think your role is going to be like might not match up to it.

“I think Patric ... probably realized he’s here to grow, and he’s much better today than he was a year ago. I think next year he would be even better than he is this season.”

Young is projected as a late first-round pick in this year's draft.

Bradley Beal Undecided On Draft

Mar 13, 2012 12:53 AM

Bradley Beal hasn’t decided if he’s going to declare for the NBA draft.

“I have no clue,” he said. “I haven’t even really thought about it at all.”

Beal is a lock for the top-10, but he is still weighing his decision.

“Either way it goes, if I leave, I still played a great year of college,” Beal said. “I enjoyed it. If I stay, it’s only going to make me get better. Either way it goes, I’m gaining something positive out of it.”
